Most people who know me, know I am not a TV watcher. Actually, I don&#8217;t even have cable at home (A rare thing these days, I know.) Very often, I have no idea which show is the &#8220;latest craze&#8221; and which commercials are all the rave.</p>
<p>Last week the TV did catch my attention. I was at my parent&#8217;s house and my mom had the TV on in the background. I was helping her cook and I nearly chopped my fingers off because I couldn&#8217;t believe what I was hearing!</p>
<p>&#8220;Eat Cheerios to lower your cholesterol.&#8221; &#8220;Three or more glasses of skim milk a day are a great way to lose weight&#8221;. Then it got ugly &#8220;Splenda is just like sugar and is great for kids&#8221;.</p>
<p>The worst of them all (the one where my mother had to nearly restrain me from attacking the TV: &#8220;There is nothing wrong with High Fructose Corn Syrup. It comes from corn and can actually be good for you.&#8221;. I nearly passed out.</p>
<p>I can see why people are totally confused about healthy eating. I can also see why obesity, heart disease and Type 2 diabetes are at an all time high in this country and in many others as well.</p>
<p>After I was done hyperventilating, I decided to first turn the TV off (because my heart just couldn&#8217;t take anymore) and then write this newsletter to clear up a few misconceptions.</p>

Currently i have been doing lot of research concerning what work and do not work,if you look into weight loss and diet plans you will notice over load of information been explored on internet but i would give you few things that would help you keep updated and stay younger with Good Health.</p>
<p>If you want to leave younger and stay healthy,that is the two major things we are praying as human being you will achieve it with the information i would be sharing with you,a lot of people talk about Diet Drugs if you look at it in this way you will notice that what is working in weight loss is diet plan, if you can maintain your diet plan and do some running you will definitely loss weight with good health.I highly recommend you to practice and maintain your diet in other to achieve good looking with good health.</p>

<p>This morning&#8217;s workout actually required NO equipment at all.</p>
<p>I must give credit where credit is due. The workout I did this morning was given to me by Craig Ballyntine, Men&#8217;s Health Contributor and the author of Turbulence Training.</p>
<p>I had the pleasure of meeting Craig at a few different Fitness and Nutrition conferences this year. Since I consider him one of the &#8220;best of the best&#8221; in the industry, I asked him if he could write me a workout. Not just any workout, but one I could do in my hotel room. I explained to him that I would be traveling a lot, but wanted to do a workout that was quick and would still kick my butt. Oh, and it couldn&#8217;t require any equipment.</p>
<p>Instead of telling me to leave him alone, he very generously gave me 2 workouts: one I could do in my hotel room and one I could do in the hotel gym.</p>
<p>He was right. They both were &#8220;kick butt&#8221; and left no room for the excuse &#8220;I don&#8217;t have a full gym to go to.&#8221;</p>
<p>I&#8217;m happy to pass them on to you:</p>
<p>15-minute hotel gym superset workout</p>
<p>A1) DB Split squat &#8211; 10 reps each leg</p>
<p>A2) DB Chest press &#8211; 10-12 reps</p>
<p>B1) DB Row- 10 -12 reps</p>
<p>B2) Stability Ball Leg Curl &#8211; 8-10 reps</p>
<p>I repeat each superset 2-3 times and then finish off the workout with intervals on the bike or treadmill. (If I&#8217;m at home, it&#8217;s always on my spin bike.)</p>
<p>Bodyweight Circuit in Hotel Room (exactly what I did this morning):</p>
<p>Prisoner Squat &#8211; 20 reps</p>
<p>Close grip Pushup &#8211; 20</p>
<p>Forward lunges &#8211; 15 reps per side</p>
<p>Mountain Climber &#8211; 10 per side</p>
<p>Split Squats &#8211; 15 reps per side</p>
<p>I completed this circuit 5 times this morning. When I first started doing it a few months ago, I could only get through 3 times, but I&#8217;m now up to 5 and I swear my legs and shoulders are definitely leaner since incorporating this workout into my routine.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>You actually need fat in order to shed your unwanted fat. The trick here is to make sure it is the right kind of fat.</p>
<p>Unfortunately, many people (this may include you) have been led to believe the opposite. People still think that butter and saturated fats are the reason heart disease is one of the top killers in this country (and now in many other countries as well). The truth is that it&#8217;s not the natural fats that are causing this epidemic, it&#8217;s the sugar, processed and packaged foods and overconsumption of refined oils that are causing so much disease (and you can add Diabetes, High Cholesterol and High Blood Pressure to this list as well).</p>
<p>I go into this topic in much greater detail in the Fats Chapter of The Diet Solution Program but here are a few nuggets of info to ponder:</p>
<p>1. Did you know that during the 60 year period from 1910-1970, the proportion of traditional animal fat in the American diet declined from 83% to 62%?</p>
<p>2. During this same time butter consumption plummeted from 18 pounds per person each year to 4 pounds per person each year.</p>
<p>3. During the past 80 years, the consumption of dietary cholesterol intake has increased only one percent.</p>
<p>So if our consumption of butter and cholesterol has actually decreased, where is the problem? Why all the heart disease?</p>
<p>1. During the same period, the average intake of dietary vegetable oils (margarine, shortening, and refined oils) increased by about 400%.</p>
<p>2. During the same period, the consumption of sugar and processed foods increased by about 60%</p>
<p>Those are the facts, but there&#8217;s never better proof than the results I see with my clients and my readers. When people finally stop eating margarine, refined oils, &#8220;fake&#8221; butters, sugar and processed foods, their health sky rockets! (and by sky rockets, I mean: gets better, greatly improves, elevates to whole new levels). Not to mention all the body fat they lose off their body (isn&#8217;t that just an awful side effect?)</p>
<p>It&#8217;s important to mention that the butter I use is organic and grass fed. The coconut oil I use is organic and unrefined and the bacon I buy is grass fed and nitrite/nitrate free. These are great foods to add into your meal plan. Not to mention the fact they will make any recipe absolutely delicious.</p>
<p>Now that I told you butter is ok to eat (A glorious day isn&#8217;t it?) here is a yummy chicken recipe I make in my house often:</p>
<p>(Please remember that the mad scientist in me sometimes forgets to document the exact amounts so you may need to make slight changes for your own tastes.)</p>
<p>Chicken with &#8220;I&#8217;m not afraid of butter&#8221; dressing</p>
<p>Ingredients:</p>
<p>2 large chicken breasts (approximately 1 lb of chicken)<br />
6 Tbsp of melted butter<br />
lemon juice from 1/2 large lemon<br />
1/4 cup olive oil<br />
salt, pepper and garlic powder to taste</p>
<p>Directions:</p>
<p>Melt 1 tbsp of butter in a large pan. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Cook chicken breasts in butter covered on very low heat. Do not let the butter get brown. Pour lemon juice in a seperate bowl. Slowly stir in the remaining melted butter as you stir mixture. Then slowly add the olive oil as you stir mixture. Season with salt, pepper and garlic powder.</p>
<p>Once the chicken is cooked through, served on a plate and pour the &#8220;dressing mixture&#8221; over your cooked chicken breasts.</p>
<p>Don&#8217;t be surprised if you are tempted to pour this dressing on your veggies and just about every other food item you can think of. It&#8217;s delicious!</p>
<p>Remember , it is not the fat that&#8217;s keeping you fat. It is the refined oils, &#8220;fake&#8221; foods and sugar and artificial sweeteners that are the real culprits.</p>
<p>Now go on and enjoy some delicious food (while you shed off that unwanted fat at the same time!)</p>
<p>&#8230;before I forget&#8230;how are you doing on your &#8220;no white foods&#8221; plan? You should already be feeling the amazing, almost instant effects of giving your body a break from many of these foods. If you have not started yet, just begin today. If you are already 2 days in, good for you! Doesn&#8217;t it feel great?</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I can&#8217;t tell you how many times each week I get the same email. &#8220;Isabel, I am doing great on your plan, but every once in a while, I&#8217;m still craving sweets!&#8221;</p>
<p>here are some healthy ways that I have been using myself to satisfy my sweet cravings:</p>
<p>1. Cut up some fresh fruit (berries, an apple, a pear, 1/2 banana) and put 1 tsp of raw, natural honey on top. One teaspoon goes a long way and gives your already sweet fruit a bit more of a kick.</p>
<p>2. Drink some Tea Juice (this is the first recipe in your Diet Solution Recipes). Essentially it is herbal tea sweetened with Stevia and cooled to be enjoyed as a cold drink. This really hits the spot at 3pm when I &#8220;think&#8221; I want a sweet treat, but this naturally sweetened beverage is enough to calm my cravings.</p>
<p>3. Mix some almond or peanut butter with unsweetened organic apple sauce and sprinkle cinnamon on top. YUMMY! This has been my pregnancy favorite! A great mid morning or afternoon snack.</p>
<p>4. Cut up one apple, spread almond butter or peanut butter on top and sprinkle some crushed raw cacao or organic dark chocolate on top.</p>
<p>5. A fruity herbal tea sweetened with stevia, xylitol or agave syrup in the evening is perfect right before bed to calm you after a busy day.</p>
<p>Remember you want to stay away from processed sugar and artificial sweeteners as much as possible. I personally use Stevia for all of my sweetening needs, but I know many people who also enjoy xylitol and agave syrup which are also great choices.</p>

<p>A question I do get quite often after people have eliminated white foods such as pasta, white rice, potatoes, and bread from their eating is &#8220;Isabel, don&#8217;t I need some carbs?&#8221;</p>
<p>The word CARBS often induces more fear in people than the words Monday morning, Taxes and Shark combined. (AAAhhhh!)</p>
<p>Your fears may have some merit (but no need to scream), as many carbs in our supermarkets today are really just doing us more harm than good. Most breads, pastas, cereals, cookies and crackers are overloaded with refined flour and happen to be one of the leading causes our planet&#8217;s obesity rate is on the rise.</p>
<p>Here&#8217;s the dilemma. You really do need carbs to function properly. Your brain does not function as well without carbs (hmmm&#8230;does this explain anything about some people you may know?) and you may lack energy and be unmotivated to do anything (even fun things) without them.</p>

<p>I am glad to have you this week.I am staying vacation cruise where we met fishermen do fishery. My family are doing so many researching on how you can live good with sound health.</p>
<p>There’s nothing like a yummy chocolate bar as a part of a healthy meal plan, right?</p>
<p>Unfortunately NOT! But since I am 1 out of probably a million people who LOVES chocolate (yes, I know, there are a few strange people out there that don’t), I’m always looking for creative and healthy ways to add chocolate into my nutritious meal plans.</p>
<p>This isn’t an easy task. Most chocolates and chocolate desserts aren’t exactly weight loss friendly. Lucky for you and me, I just got word of a new chocolate protein powder that fits all the necessary DSP requirements.</p>
<p>Most of you know, I am not a huge fan of supplements (or protein powders for that matter) so the number of supplements I promote are very few and far between. Out of the hundreds of protein powders that get sent my way for review, this is only the 2nd that I feel is worth telling all of my wonderful readers about.<br />
